There are 137 Army Public Schools located in various Cantonments and Military Stations across India. Screening Exam will be conducted in 61 various cities throughout India.
Army Public Schools are administered and managed by local Army authorities and affiliated to CBSE through Army Welfare Education Society.
All PGTs will be appointed on regular basis subject to one year probation extendable up to two years.
50 % of TGTs (including activity teacher) held on the rolls of any school will be regular as per seniority. Others will be on 3 years contract (if CTET/TET qualified) which will be extendable.
30 % of PRTs (including activity teacher) held on the rolls of any school will be regular as per seniority. Others will be on 3 years contract (if CTET/TET qualified) which will be extendable.
Your Educational Qualification Should Be:
PGT- Candidates must possess Post Graduation with minimum 50% marks, and B Ed with minimum 50% marks.
TGT, PRT- Candidates must possess Graduation with minimum 50% marks, and B Ed with minimum 50% marks.
Note: CTET/ TET conducted by state governments is mandatory for TGTs/ PRTs to be appointed Regular/Contractual. However CTET/ TET is not mandatory for appearing in CSB Screening exam.
Your Upper Age Limit Should Be: 40 years except for NCR schools where the upper age limit for TGT/ PRT should be 29 years and for PGT 36 years.
Candidates having minimum five years teaching experience in the last ten years; can apply up to 57 years of age.
Exam Fee To Be Paid: Rs. 600/- can select ONLINE PAYMENT mode, and make the payment using Credit card/ Debit card/ Net Banking.
In other method of payment, once can pay by CASH through CHALLAN at any of the designated SBI bank branch.
